Winner! $1 million Mega Millions ticket sold in Ohio
SIDNEY, Ohio — Somebody is waking up a newly minted millionaire.
The Ohio Lottery states a Mega Millions ticket sold at a Speedway service station in Sidney hit $1 million in Tuesday night’s drawing, which means the ticket matched five numbers, missing out on the jackpot by just the Mega Ball.
The winning picks were: 32-48-50-51-64+10, MP=2
Sidney is within Shelby County, which can be found near I-75 roughly midway between Dayton and Lima.
There have been two other $1 million winners, in California and Louisiana. No one hit the grand prize.
In December, somebody won the $375 Mega Millions jackpot after buying a ticket at a Giant Eagle store in Mentor. The Ohio Lottery states it’s the largest prize ever won in the state.
The following drawing – an estimated $187 million – happens Friday at 11 p.m. EST.
