A 24-year-old Tampa man turned $5 into $1 million by winning the Florida Lottery’s “GOLD Hurry CLASSIC” scratch-off game.

Cesar Arteaga Roque made a decision to receive his winnings as a lump-sum payment of $705k.

Arteaga Roque purchased his winning ticket from the 7-Eleven at 824 West Waters Avenue in Tampa.

The store will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning scratch-off ticket.
