How long does it take to receive MA Lottery winnings?

Prizes up to $100,000 can be collected in person at any authorized lottery office. Prizes greater than $100,000 need to be claimed at Lottery Headquarters in Dorchester and will take longer to process, around two to three business days.

How much will I pay in taxes if I win the MA lottery?

For prizes of more than $600, 5% is withheld for state taxes. For prizes of $5,000 or more, the Federal tax withholding rate is 24% and 5% is withheld for state taxes.
