Responsible Gaming

Stop When the Fun Stops

At Lottery.com, we believe that playing the lottery and participating in sweepstakes, promotions, giveaways and other forms of gaming is all about fun. But when the fun stops, we want you to stop. And if you aren’t of legal age, we don’t want you to try to start.

We pledge to our players, employees, and community to provide a responsible and positive experience by:

  • providing responsible play
  • promoting assistance
  • preventing underage play
  • practicing responsible marketing
Setting Limits

Lottery.com sets limits, which includes limiting players to not more than 50 plays per lottery drawing, regardless of:

  • when the plays are purchased
  • where the plays are purchased
  • how the plays are purchased
Assistance

If you believe that playing the lottery or any other gaming is no longer fun, please call the National Problem Gambling Helpline, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, at 1-800-522-4700. More information on problem gaming and additional resources can be found at The National Council on Problem Gambling website.

Underage Play

Anyone under the legal age who attempts to play the lottery or anyone who facilitates such play may be subject to prosecution, will have all winnings forfeited, and will be barred by Lottery.com. To ensure players are of legal age, Lottery.com takes precautions that may include age affirmation by the player and age verification by Lottery.com. You can assist in preventing underage play by:

  • protecting your Lottery.com account with private passwords, securing your device, and not deploying software that will recall your password
  • letting us know if you become aware of an underage person using your Lottery.com account by sending an email to our Customer Happiness team; all reports of underage use of our services are taken seriously and we will investigate and take appropriate steps to freeze the account, if warranted
Responsible Marketing

While promoting Lottery.com is important, we will always work to ensure that our campaigns do not:

  • imply exaggerated chances of winning
  • encourage play beyond your means
  • target underage players
