NEW JERSEY SELLS ONE $250,000!

New Jersey Lottery Executive Director Carole Hedinger today announced that one lucky New Jersey Lottery player has won the Mega Millions second prize of $250,000 and another lucky player has won the third prize of $10,000 for the Friday, August 31 drawing.
The $250,000 winning ticket was purchased in Union County at Kwick Mart Food Store, located at 190 South Avenue in Fanwood. The $10,000 winning ticket was bought in Hudson County at Paradise Deli LLC, located at 226 Newark Avenue in Jersey City.
“Congratulations to these lottery winners and to the retailers that sold the winning tickets,” said Hedinger. “For selling the $250,000 and the $10,000 winning tickets, the retailers have become two more of the Lottery's ‘lucky locations' overnight.”
In addition to the Garden State's second and third prize winners, 38,260 other New Jersey players took home $158,608 in prizes ranging from $2 to $150, according to Hedinger.
The winning numbers for the Friday, August 31 drawing were: 31, 40, 41, 47, and 48 and the Gold Mega Ball number was 45. The Megaplier number was 03.
