$2 MILLION SUPER SET FOR LIFE WINNER IN LEDUC!

Joy Bailey received more than just a hot chocolate while waiting in a drive-thru line – she also discovered her SUPER SET FOR LIFE ticket was a $2,000,000 winner!
The Leduc resident purchased the $20 SCRATCH ’N WIN ticket from the Shoppers Drug Mart, located at 7-6108 50th Street, and then decided to take her daughter out for a hot chocolate. “I was in the drive thru, waiting for my order, so I took out a loonie and started to scratch the ticket,” Joy remembered. “The very first game I scratched, I got three Set for Life symbols and then threw the ticket onto the front seat beside me. After I got my order, I took another look at the ticket and thought, ‘That’s not right!’”
After checking the ticket, front to back, multiple times, Joy ran out to the nearest store and used the self-serve Ticket Checker. “My daughter was with me and wanted a toy, so I bought her a toy and then self-checked it again. I counted all of the zeroes and sure enough, there were six of them! It all feels like a dream and it’s quite overwhelming!”
Joy called her fiancé, who was working out of town. “I asked him what it would take for him to come home. He jokingly replied, ‘Well, I would come home if you won the lottery!’” she laughed.
Joy is in no rush to spend her windfall, aside from paying off her mortgage. “I am going to get some financial advice, because we really do want to be Set for Life!”
