RINGLE MAN CLAIMS $200,000 POWERBALL PRIZE
November 16, 2009
(Madison) —James Synkelma of Ringle wasted no time in claiming his $200,000 Powerball prize from the Saturday, November 14 drawing.
Synkelma came to the Wisconsin Lottery’s Madison headquarters this afternoon and validated his winning ticket. Synkelma matched all five regular winning numbers but missed the Powerball in Saturday night’s drawing, to lay claim to his $200,000 prize.
Saturday’s winning numbers were 19, 30, 32, 48 and 57, with a Powerball of 14.
Synkelma bought his $200,000 winner in Hatley at the Hatley BP, 401 State Road. For selling that winning ticket, BP earns a commission of $4,000 from the Lottery. Lottery retailers who sell winning tickets with prizes of $600 or more earn the equivalent of 2% of the prize, up to a maximum of $100,000.
