CONSTRUCTION WORKER SCRATCHES TO WIN $100,000
October 22, 2009
When Silvio Estrada of Alexandria won $100,000 in the Virginia Lottery’s Right on the Money Scratcher game, the win could not have come at a better time. He and his wife are expecting their fourth child.

“I’m really, really happy,” the construction worker told Virginia Lottery officials as he claimed his prize.

He bought the winning ticket at Super Mini Mart, located at 8792-A Sacramento Drive in Alexandria.

Right on the Money is one of dozens of Scratcher games offered by the Virginia Lottery. It features prizes ranging from $5 all the way up to $100,000. This is the second ticket to win the top prize in Right on the Money, which means there is one $100,000 ticket yet to be claimed.
