COLUMBIA, SC – The reality of winning a huge prize finally sank in for Michelle and Omar Bueso when they claimed their $100,000 top prize from a lucky Stacks of Cash instant ticket.
“I scratched the ticket and saw the $100,000 on it, but I just couldn’t believe it,” Mrs. Bueso said. “Only when we got the check at the Claims Center did it seem real,” she laughed.
The couple has a few ideas for using their prize but do plan on saving most of it.
The Buesos bought the $5 Stacks of Cash instant ticket at Neighbors LLC in Bluffton. A retailer who sells a claimed ticket of $10,000 or more receives a 1 percent selling bonus. Neighbors LLC, located at 4372 Bluffton Parkway in Bluffton, received $1,000. The selling bonus is capped at $50,000.
