ANDERSON WOMAN WINS $100,000 TAXES PAID
June 15, 2009

COLUMBIA, SC – Uncle Sam took his share, but an Anderson woman still walked out of the Greenville Claims Center with a $100,000 check.

"I didn't believe I had won," Bonnie Cain said after scratching the $5 Instant Carolina 5 ticket. The lucky player scored a top prize of $100,000 taxes paid. The prize is structured to include state and federal taxes leaving $100,000 after taxes are deducted.

Cain bought her ticket at Liberty Crossing, located at 4536 Liberty Highway, in Anderson. The retailer who sells a claimed ticket worth more than $10,000 received a one percent selling bonus. Liberty Crossing received a $1,470 bonus.
