WELL-KNOWN COLUMBIA CATERER WINS $100,000

COLUMBIA, SC - Waiting to leave work and head home, Carolyn Seawell decided to pass the time by scratching a few instant tickets at her desk. The second Deal or No Deal™ ticket she scratched changed her plans. Seawell just won $100,000.
As the owner of Seawell's Food Catering in Columbia, Seawell first shared the good news with her employees. "They were all excited for me, but I couldn't believe my good luck," she said.
A fan of the popular television show, Seawell purchased her first Deal or No Deal™ instant ticket over the weekend. Yesterday, she decided to try her luck again with tickets purchased from the Rosewood Amoco Food #2 in Columbia.
Seawell, who has lived in Columbia all her life, plans to save the winnings. She also mentioned taking a trip with her eight grandchildren.
"She is a very generous woman," her grandson said. "She gives a lot, so I’m not surprised some came back to her."
