$20 BIRTHDAY GIFT BECOMES $100,000 WIN
August 31, 2012
Patricia Mystrom of Woodbury won $100,000 by playing the Lottery’s Crossword Extra scratch game.

When Mystrom purchases scratch tickets, she generally favors the $3 crossword games, but decided to splurge on four $5 Crossword Extra tickets because she had just received $20 as a birthday gift. When she scratched the fourth ticket, she uncovered a $100,000 win.

SuperAmerica, located at 11 S. Century Ave. in Maplewood, sold the winning ticket.
