How are Lucky Numbers generated?
We have a variety of ways to help you choose lucky numbers.
If you like us to do the work for you, you can use our Lucky Number Generator to pick your numbers. The generator can give you numbers for the game of your choice in a variety of ways. You can pick numbers based on your birthday. You can pick numbers for the game of your choice that are Hot, Cold or Overdue. And of course you can let Lady Luck just pick them at random.
If you’re the type that like to analyze numbers, our Advanced Search features will let you see how frequently numbers have hit in the past for the game of your choice.
Of course, this is all for entertainment purposes only. Lottery numbers are drawn randomly and we’re not saying that any numbers we give you have any better chance of winning. We make no promises, but we also won’t ask for a cut when you win!
What’s the difference between Hot, Cold and Overdue numbers?
Hot Numbers are the numbers that historically have been drawn most often in a particular game.
Cold Numbers are the numbers that historically have been drawn the least amount of times in a particular game.
Overdue Numbers are the numbers that have gone the longest since they’ve been drawn in a particular game.
What does that mean? Hot is pretty clear. But, as an example, if a six was drawn last night but hadn’t been drawn in a long time before that, it might still be a “cold” number because historically it came up less frequently. And maybe, over a long time, the number 21 has been a “hot” number, but it hasn’t been drawn in 4 months. That might make it an “Overdue” number as well.
Are your lottery results accurate?
We take very precaution to ensure that our results are accurate but human error can still occur. Lottery.com is for entertainment purposes only and the various state lotteries are the ultimate authorities of the validity of any lottery results.
